The WavePool Story

Over the past 10 years we’ve enjoyed connecting thousands of CIOs, CTOs and CISOs from Fortune 500 companies with their peers through our national C10 VIP Events. These events included Executive breakfasts hosted at the offices of top leaders, private dinners with spouses at the homes of CIOs, and large family events with Special Guests and Pro Athletes. Each event created a safe environment for leaders to build strong relationships and interact safely with peers.

But there was a big problem.

They were all funded by vendors.

We started to realize that there are limited opportunities for IT Executives to connect in meaningful ways and that most of the events they are invited to are stiff, unnatural, motive driven, and centered around vendor agendas.

This didn’t feel right to us.

In 2020, our team decided it was time to become an entirely “vendor-free” IT Executive Peer Collaboration organization. To make this pivot–from the typical vendor-heavy, sponsor-driven organization to a privately vetted network of peers–required that we transition to becoming a true “membership organization”.

We remain focused on our unique capability of facilitating deep, personalized connections and collaboration with executive peers and protecting the warm and authentic culture we’ve created… rather than vendor-driven dialogue you may see pushed by many of the other networking options available to you.

We anticipate continuing to have an element of exclusively-curated, regional VIP Events.

WavePool is a private community for senior-most executives from globally respected organizations to intimately share ideas, solutions and collaborative discovery free from press, competition and solicitation.

WavePool Leadership

ERYNN OVERLY, President and Co-Founder

Erynn Overly works closely with top Fortune 500 technology leaders nationally. She is the co-Founder of the CoPilot project, designed to help facilitate and foster relationship building between business leaders and is highly respected. Erynn grew up as an All-American Lacrosse Player and trained at Cornell when she was younger. She studied Business Management at Metro State College in Denver, Colorado. She has hosted hundreds of events with Senior Executives, Families and Pro Athletes.

Erynn has a deep passion for Animals and the Earth as well as Corporate Social Responsibility. She is most well-known for bringing together top business leaders and helping lift and inspire deep meaningful relationships in the community. Her goal is to help empower Women leaders and improve Diversity in leadership roles breaking down the barriers of access. She loves fashion and traveling the world where she fell most in love with Europe. She loves to dance and soak up sunshine. When she’s not at work, she is most likely found spending time with her favorite side kick and companion “Ralphie” a miniature dachshund.


Christopher Hemming is the Founder and CEO of C10, a National Event company that hosts premier Executive Events in 22 cities. He is considered one of the most connected business leaders in the technology industry. He has been awarded for his work connecting leaders and is a Forty Under 40 recipient. Christopher lived in South America when he was younger and speaks Spanish. His greatest passion is connecting leaders and helping others strengthen their network of peers. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University Idaho in Business Management and Marketing. He worked in Telecom at Military sites worldwide where he met the CEO of American Airlines on a late night flight.

It was there he was inspired to build a company to connect leaders. His events became well known for including top IT Executives, their spouses, and families. Many of these Events raised money to help struggling military families and gave struggling soldiers access to C10 resources. His passion for connecting people has impacted thousands of people. He is the father of 6 children and a brain tumor survivor.
